About our Team:
The property management team ensures the property is cared for, clean of debris and fully functional. Inside the cottage, the team sterilizes and deep cleans everything before your arrival and that the grass is cut and everything is in good working order. If you should have any problems during your stay, the property manager will be your point of contact, as they are local and only a short drive away.

The neighbourhood is quiet and full of families trying to enjoy every minute in nature. If that sounds like you, you belong in Whiskey Harbour! The house is a 15-minute bicycle ride from the local general store, where you can enjoy a delicious ice cream cone, or pick up any essentials that you may have forgotten.
Although the house has private lake access, there are also two popular public accesses that are each a half-block away. If you feel like a little different scenery while swimming - it is only steps away! There is also a sandy beach within about 15 minute drive.
Venture further north to the National Park or to one of the many trailhead entrances of The Bruce Trail.
Guests will have access to the entire home.

You will fall in love with the design and layout of W.H. Lakehouse.
The home is located in a quiet area, approximately 35 minutes south of Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula National Park, 15 minutes from the hamlet of Lion's Head, and 25 minutes from Wiarton. It is the perfect location to unwind and relax to the sounds of the lake and the chirping of the birds.
The house faces west giving you a stunning view of some of the best sunsets around. Sit around a campfire in the evenings, watch the fabulous sunsets, and then wait for the gorgeous stars to come out and dazzle. The Northern Bruce Peninsula is a dark sky community, which leads to jaw dropping evening views of the Moon, the planets in our solar system, and the entire Milky Way Galaxy.
The area is generally pretty good for bugs, but mosquitosd and a few other flying critters can make an appearance. But if they do, you can enjoy the landscape from the beautiful screened porch, with floor to ceiling windows. The space, which has overhead radiant heaters to for those chilly evenings, is also amazing if the weather turns.
If it's too hot, head in to the air conditioned house and enjoy quality time with your family while watching the beautiful lake. Or, if the weather cools, curl up in front of a magnificently large gas fire and lose yourself in the pages of a good book.
The house features a very large custom built cedar deck, with a private walkout from the master bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee from the deck, or grill up your favourite cuts on the large stainless steel barbecue.
There are 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 adults and 4 children. Or a family of 6 adults and 2 children. All bedrooms are fitted with blackout curtains so you don't have to wake up when the sun does.
The cottage has an open concept kitchen & living room and the entire home is pine throughout. Cathedral ceilings and a second floor loft affords breathtaking views of Lake Huron through floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen is fitted with a large family fridge, five burner gas stove and oven, built-in dishwasher & microwave. There is also a laundry room with a washer & dryer.
The loft has a pull out couch area with a flat screen TV for your use. High Speed WiFi is available with unlimited downloads.
This is our home, but we rent it out when we are away. Please keep that in mind and treat it as you would your home.

We recommend bringing your bikes for riding the gorgeous scenic waterfront roadways and trail systems.
