The village's picturesque narrow, pebbled streets are quiet, with no car traffic, and are lined with small shops, boutiques, and beautiful mansions that once belonged to wealthy landowners. Megalochori Square is a traditional square lined with trees, tavernas, and restaurants. It's a lovely spot for people-watching, as many locals gather to play cards or socialize.
