Mirriyindi (Aboriginal meaning 'where the rainbow ends') This is the main house and features two queen bedrooms both with en-suites and access to a shared sunny balcony through French doors. There's also a large and well-appointed eat-in country kitchen with amazing gas AGA and a separate laundry. The living room has a cosy slow combustion fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs and books for you to enjoy. Woongarra (Aboriginal meaning 'sleeping place') This spacious studio sits beside the pond with serene views across the neighbouring lake. It has a queen bed and a single sofa bed, as well as a funky bathroom and kitchenette. Outdoors -There are many great outdoor options at Mirriyindi. The covered verandah off the main cottage kitchen is perfect for an al-fresco dining alternative with its long trestle table, and there's also an outdoor seating area nearby that catches the sun year round. The gazebo overlooking the garden pond makes for a great photo opportunity, and the grounds are full of places to explore and relax. There is also a gas BBQ available for your use. Heating and cooling -The main cottage is fitted with a gas AGA, wood combustion fire and gas heater for Winter, as well as ceiling fans in the bedrooms for Summer. Woongarra has reverse cycle aircon to keep you cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter. Linen- Luxury damask bedlinen and cotton bath towels provided. Parking- There is plenty of off street parking. You can park up to four cars comfortably around Mirriyindi and Woongarra, and you can also drive right up to Noonameena. Pets- Pets are welcome at Mirriyindi. Please do not allow them on the furniture or leave them inside unattended. While Mirriyindi is fenced, you do bring your pets at your own risk. Please keep in mind Mirriyindi is a large property, and due to location wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats, foxes and rabbits may visit. The garden pond is shallow but unfenced. Minimum stay- There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, and four nights during Spring / Summer and at Easter. Internet / Wi-Fi access- Internet and landline are not available, but there is strong 4G network coverage around the property. There are also bluetooth speakers in the main house and both studio cottages.
