The home's water is drinkable as it comes directly from from water source of mountain.
Therefore it is as good as mineral water, and quite refreshing during hot days :)
There are a lot of restaurants nearby (100 meters); the center is as well nearby, only 200 meters. It will be quite easy to going out in the night and getting back home by foot in a few minutes :)

City Center: 200 m (shops, restaurants, pharmacy, church, pubs, bar) (5 minutes by walk)
Simius Beach: 2 km (only 20 minutes by walk)
Shuttle Bus Stop: 50 m from Cagliari Airport to Villasimius.
The bus stop is only 1 minute by walk from the house, approx 50 meters far.
From there you can take the bus to Cagliari city center 66 Km which takes around 90 minutes, and eventually after get to the airport by train (10 minutes).
Otherwise you can take the Shuttle Bus from Cagliari Airport to Villasimius which takes 60 minutes.
There's also a bus shuttle that allows tourist to reach the beautiful beaches :)
Every Saturday you can visit the street market: I suggest you to taste the typical products of Sardinia: biological vegetables, cheese, sausage, charcuterie, eggs, homemade sweet, fresh fish and much more :)
