Summary: Great location and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room was very disappointing, especially as we paid for an upgrade. There was peeling wallpaper, tired paintwork, and the bathroom wasn’t properly clean, dirty grout, stained sealant around the bath, and grime around the shower screen. The hotel has potential, but the room condition and standards really need improving.
