A well position location in the countryside of Kefalonia a short distance from the airport (12km) 15min drive and the island's capital of Argostoli(12km) 15min drive, and to the port to Zante(0.4km) The surrounding area includes the historic St. Geroges Castle, secluded beaches(pessada beach 0.4km,10min walking), several tavernas(0.5km taverna/kantina in port 10min walking) in the big supermarket is only 5km(LIDL,A/B,CARREFOUR...10min drive)and a small mini market in pessada 0.8km.
the villa have fantastic views of the Ainos Mountain and the clear blue waters of the sea and around of the beautiful olive trees!

Summary: Villa was set in a very quiet part of the island. The private pool was clean and a good size. We hired a car as the villa is ten minutes drive from good local supermarkets and we were able to see some fantastic places on the island. The owner Stelios was very helpful and gave us his telephone number for us to ring anytime if we had a problem or query. A very nice family man who also owns apartments in Lassi with the most amazing, panoramic view of the island. The apartments share a massive pool and most have their own balconies. The villa Margi is large enough for five people to stay with two lovely bathrooms and a compact kitchen with everything you need. There are lots of great Greek taverns on the island but particularly loved Ellionas, set in olive groves, ten minute drive from the property. It has the most beautiful garden and two very friendly dogs. The menu was a good choice of greek dishes and reasonably priced and the service was great. We will miss our villa and the lovely island of Kefallonia but looking to book again next year, maybe in the apartments belonging to Stelios.
