This cosy 1 bedroom basement flat is located on the idyllic Addington Square, which is a peaceful location in Camberwell, lined with Georgian and Regency houses. The flat has 1 double bedroom, an open plan living and kitchen area, and one bathroom. Sitting between Elephant & Castle and Kennington stations, this is the perfect location for up to 2 guests to stay, whilst enjoying a wonderful city break to London. Please note: The flat is down two flights of stairs. The Space: Located on the basement level of a stunning Georgian townhouse, the flat has large windows letting in lots of natural light, modern wooden floors and a carpeted bedroom. Decorated with neutral contemporary decor throughout, there is one double bedroom, an open plan kitchen living area and bathroom. LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA The kitchen overlooks the garden and has modern cabinets and a marble style counter. Designed with an open plan layout, there is a dining area and living space combined. Unwind on the large L shaped sofa, big enough to seat 3, and when you’re not enjoying the culinary delights in the neighbourhood, dine in at the table which can seat 2. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook at home with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, cutlery and glasses, as well as an oven, stove, refrigerator and a kettle. There is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board should you need it. BEDROOMS There is one striking double bedroom neutrally decorated with a built in wardrobe to hang your clothes up, as well as a two bedside tables. The plush double bed will be spotlessly made up for you using hotel quality linen. BATHROOMS The bathroom has a three piece white suite with a bath, overhead electric shower, sink, toilet and cabinet. Large fluffy white towels and starter toiletries will be provided for every guest. Guest Access: Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in. Interaction with Guests: When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be. The Neighborhood: Camberwell is fast becoming a top food destination. You can venture to neighbouring Brixton or Peckham, also renowned for independent eateries where you can taste food from all around the world as well as browse boutique shops. Located on the prominent Addington Square you’ll enjoy a peaceful green setting, on the edge of Burgess Park where there are tennis courts, a lake and community gardens. The flat is a 20 minute walk to multiple stations, and benefits from excellent bus links to the city. Getting Around: The flat is within walking distance to Kennington and Oval Underground stations, it’s also close to Denmark Hill and Elephant & Castle where there is a mainline station. - Elephant & Castle Underground is a 23 minute walk, or a 13 minute bus ride from Camberwell Road Albany Road Bus (Stop X). Here you can catch the Thameslink or Southeastern trains or the Bakerloo and Northern lines. - Denmark Hill Overground is an 11 minute bus ride from Camberwell Road Albany Road (Stop N) where you can catch the Thameslink and Southeastern lines to Central London. - Kennington Underground is a 19 minute walk or a 19 minute journey from Camberwell Road Albany (Stop X). Here you can catch the Northern line. - Oval Underground is a 22 minute walk or a 4 minute bus journey from Vassall Road (Stop P) which is a 14 minute walk from the flat. Here you can catch the Northern line. - Brixton is a 23 minute bus journey from Camberwell Road Albany Road (Stop N) or 13 minutes in a car. Here you can catch the Victoria line.
