Positive: The views from the room and the roof top breakfast area were wonderful.. Luca was a fine host, attentive and helpful. When I accidentally left the keys in my room, he was very nice about it, and came over to let us in very promptly. It was the very end of tourist season for that property, so I’m sure everyone was tired and looking forward to a break, but that didn’t affect the care we were shown during our stay.

Negative: Our room was up many stairs, and then more stairs to get to the breakfast area were. so if you have mobility issues, be forewarned. Otherwise, many places if the old parts of cities have stairs. Think of it as the Italy physical fitness plan, and eat more gelato.

Summary: Quiet, comfortable, lovely host.
