Positive: The flat is very nicely situated close to the Vegesack train station and pedestrian zone. It is very spacious and it was great to have space & privacy. The flat is well furnished and the kitchen was mostly well-equipped. Parking is included.

Negative: The flat was not clean at all. There was dust on most furniture and spider webs and spiders in the bedrooms. The tea towels were dirty. The coffee pot had coffee in it left over from a previous stay. The beds were not made, sheets and duvets simply were left on the beds for us to make the beds ourselves. We found this strange and very inconvenient, as we arrived very late. Some essential things were not provided, like kitchen towels or a dish sponge. Communication with the host was not straightforward. While they were kind and helpful, they did not reply to some messages on booking.com and insisted on talking on the phone, which was not always convenient. No clear information about checking out was provided. The facade is being renovated, which meant there was noise and the windows couldn't be opened. This in itself is not a big problem, but we were only informed on the day of check-in, not in advance. Overall, it was a good place to stay, and if cleanliness and communication improve, we would be verry happy to stay here again.
