Lahaina Shores may still provide a quiet, relaxing stay in the near future.
In case you missed the international news coverage . . . Lahaina had a major fire. We will rebuild the town. Please come to be a part of it!
Our resort is still standing and from the outside appears undamaged. We have had no information as yet of any problems. We await an inspection. Feel free to book with me if you want to maintain a future date. Once you have booked we can communicate by phone. I intend to do business as normal as soon as possible. The town full of shops and galleries may be gone but we still have a beautiful beach and grounds. Kaโ€™anapali is less than 10 minutes away. It has plenty of shops and restaurants. We have 2 shopping centers with groceries 3 minutes away from us. We are an oasis amid a disaster.

Open your eyes in the morning and see a view that will make you think you are on a cruise ship. Watch the sunset over the ocean while enjoying supper on your private lanai. It is all good in laid back Maui.
Having a full kitchen makes cooking meals at home easy and will save the vacation budget, but there are also great restaurants within easy walking distance. You are only minutes from the center of town. It's so close it's not worth driving. The things you'll see on foot will be a big part of what makes Lahaina such a perfect vacation town.
After a day of fun activities you can relax on the manicured grounds near the pool and watch the sun set over the ocean. (Bring a fruity drink in a plastic glass) You can also see this right from your lanai for a romantic setting. But then again the beach is literally right at the edge of the property in case you prefer to sit on the sand. Don't forget to pick up a steak or veggie burger for the BBQ grill!
Credit Card Operated washers and dryers are available on each floor. Any of these are available for your use so feel free to check a different floor if yours is busy. This is a non-smoking resort. Local hourly bus service is available a few blocks away. Lyft drivers and taxis are also quick to respond. There is a concierge in the lobby area to assist in your daily plans. The front desk staff is very helpful too!
Until October 2019 this unit was managed and maintained by Lahaina Shores Beach Resort. The current rate for this studio will be significantly lower now, but be aware daily maid service is not provided.
I chose this unit to purchase mainly because of the top floor and south end advantage. The ocean view and high ceilings are a big draw. The sound of the ocean is amazing for a good night's sleep. The position in the building means there is no one above you. The luau is at the property to the north so if you want to hear the music you can open the door but it will not be overwhelming. There is a one bedroom unit to the south to block any pool party sounds we may have at the new mansion. You have an unobstructed view of the horizon to the south and west and Lanai and the horizon to the northwest. It is really one of the best views in the building. Bring your binoculars if it is whale season and watch them from your balcony.
I have replaced the hotel queen mattress with a California King on a platform base. All of the cookware, towels, utensils are brand new as of December 2019.
There is a Ninja blender, electric tea kettle, drip coffee makers, Keurig, and French press are all provided for the coffee fans. I am unable to have a dishwasher at this time. The refrigerator does have an icemaker.
I want my guests to be comfortable and able to enjoy Maui to the fullest. I send out a packet of information from my personal email. I welcome any feedback you may have for me.
