Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay but for the money and the pictures shown could be much better. The Cons We've stopped in many villas appreciating check in times to allow for cleaning etc all normally allow a bag drop earlier, but this owner does not accommodate. Many money pinching points; there are hints about not using too much electricity (power costs are broadly same as uk), ie only put the washer on a 15 min cycle, no dishwasher (which to be fair is not listed) but there is room in the utility, also notes re no leaving on lights etc; the cutlery, glasses & oudoor furniture is a higgledy piggledy of all sorts where breakages or wear & tear have been partly replaced; the outdoor sofa is ripped/stained so either needs replacing or the covers changing; some of the fixtures & fittings need checking ie flush on the main bedroom ensuite, curtain tie back hooks replaced with a loose screw, bedside lamp in 2nd double not working, number of areas could do with a touch up of paint etc; invest in some decent pillows and remove the crisp packet like protector on the main bedroom mattress. These are all not major points but given the cost of the property could be sorted at a relatively low outlay. If power cost is problem, charge a a bit extra. No fault of the property but we've seen more cockroaches here than anywhere. Pros The outdoor area is nice including the pool. Heating the pool was well worth it. Property is clean and comms from the host good with a friendly check in from Jamie.
