Summary: The whole development looks very dated now nothing much can be done about that, but it all looks very functional and not very imaginatively laid out. So the views out of the house aren't that great. It's a bit of a misnomer to call it lakeside as in practise you have no connection with the lake. The house had been well cleaned, although it was a pity that the mop and bucket with dirty water had been left just inside the front door to greet us! The main problem for us was that there had been a heavy smoker in the house and he had obviously been smoking in the living room. Complained about this twice but got no reply. This explains why there were so many airfreshners about why and we couldn't close one of the windows in the living room. There is a minimal amount of crockery and cutlery, so if there are six of you you will have problems, basically you have to keep washing! Probably a good place to book if you have young kids as there are other kids around to play with. Plenty of hot water and all showers were good. There were no instructions for anything, so it was hard to workout for example how to use the cooker where all the markings have been worn off overtime.
