Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Nice location with a beautiful view of the Kiso Mountains. The staff (owner?) was very kind and put up with my lackluster Japanese very skillfully. The hot spring is HOT. Dizzyingly hot. Has free amenities.

Negative: It's a little far away from any facilities which makes it a bit harder for people who are walking.
