Summary: We like cabins over hotels for many reasons, the main one being the little extra privacy you get. We’ve stayed in many cabin-style accommodations all over the west, these are about average from what we’ve seen; definitely not the best but not the worst either! The only negatives I could mention would be the price (a little on the expensive side), the added fees after booking (with the pet fee added on, their fees more than doubled the original pricing!!!), and the fact that the cabin was stifling hot when we arrived and the HVAC units are not adequate to cool the place down. Outside in the evening is a little noisy; you’ve got peacocks, frogs, people in the other accommodations, etc, but it’s a really nice location and is out of town enough that you feel secluded. We’d stay again if it weren’t for the excessive fees.
