For guests who love being on the water and are looking to get close to nature, our Edgewater Mountain Retreat is for you. An exquisite custom home with a wall of windows boasts stunning mountain and river views. This home is located near Vallecito Lake, just 40 minutes from Durango and can accommodate two guests. There is a detached garage on property where the owner stays when not traveling.
You choose your daily activities. Read a book, have a glass of wine and relax in the sunroom, or or have an exhilarating day out and about. Fishing, hiking and stargazing are just steps away. In the winter, enjoy the local cross country ski / Nordic track, snowshoe from the cabin, or enjoy ice fishing less than a mile away. There are local restaurants close by if you would like to take a break from cooking.

This property is pet friendly, the pet fee is $25/per day, each pet. We allow up to 2 dogs per stay. The maximum pet fee is $200 per dog and will be added to your reservation after you book.

Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.

Cancellation Policy:
If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Between (29) days and fifteen (15) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. (14) days or less to arrival, no refunds given.
For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee Cancellations made between thirty one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.
Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
