Positive: I really liked my stay at Hotel Villa Nova in Neum. The location was very central, making it easy to get around and enjoy the town. One of the highlights was the amazing swimming hub that’s available exclusively for hotel guests — it made the stay feel extra special. The breakfast was decent and satisfying, and I really enjoyed the nice view from the balcony, which added a relaxing touch to the experience.
Negative: There were a few aspects of my stay at Hotel Villa Nova that I didn’t enjoy. The on-site parking was extremely tight, and on one occasion we were boxed in by another car. Since the staff couldn’t locate the owner, we ended up having to crawl in through the trunk just to reach the driver’s seat, which was very inconvenient. Another issue was the inconsistency in the rooms — I booked with a friend, and while my room was fine, his was severely outdated and old, despite us both paying the same price. Lastly, while the staff were cordial to my Balkan friend, their attitude toward me as an English speaker unfortunately felt hostile, which made parts of the experience uncomfortable.
