Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very friendly owners! Helped us with minor repairs and offered to drive us into town multiple times. It's a little outside of "main" Santa Catalina but we didn't mind the 20-30min walk to the beaches/bars/restaurants/etc. Just meant we had a quiet evening when we got back home each night.

Negative: I saw a lot of other listings in the area that offered a kitchen for the same price they were charging us. I thought the place DID have a kitchen, but the site doesn't claim that so I'm not sure where I got that impression. Being on the outskirts of town, and having no vehicle of our own, it would have been easier to cook on site rather than have to walk for every meal. But still, a nice place!
