Enormous holiday house close to nature for a sociable and relaxing holiday in the Eifel and ideal for all kinds of celebrations
The holiday house can welcome up to 28 people and is quietly situated in a tiny settlement in the midst of idyllic nature in the Enz Valley in the Neuerburger Land of the Eifel. The Enz Valley cycle paths runs past the house, which is surrounded by hiking trails.
The house was completely renovated in 2012/2013 and generously extended in 2016. The house has walls with smooth plaster painted white and wooden, laminate and tiled flooring. The total living space of over 360m² makes it ideal for holidays with extended family or friends, as the living space is divided into four independent parts. Therefore all guests can enjoy both privacy and sociable gatherings and activities together. The house consists of a main house, a side wing and an attic apartment, as well as a new guest lounge. The whole house provides nine bedrooms with various bed constellations possible. One of the bedrooms has eight mattresses. Smoking is prohibited within the buildings.
Wireless Internet access (hotspot) is available throughout the holiday house free of charge using your wireless devices. You will receive the necessary access data after booking.
As the holiday home is located near two other holiday homes, guests should be quiet and respect the sleeping hours at 11.00 pm. Therefore the house cannot be recommended for unaccompanied youth groups and young adults.
The first part of the house, the two-storey main house, has a separate, spacious and fully-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, with a living room next to it that can also be used as a dining room, with two leather sofas and two comfortable armchairs for relaxing in front of the flatscreen TV. The dining table is for six people. Next to the big cloakroom space and hall on the ground floor there is a shower room with a WC, a washbasin and a shower cubicle. The upper floor comprises three bedrooms and another bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed and two bedside tables with reading lamps. The second bedroom has a bunk bed combination with a double bed below and a single bed above, for three people. The third bedroom is suitable as a family room, with child-friendly furnishing, a double bed and a raised single bed for a young child. The upper-floor bathroom has a glass shower cubicle with a WC and washbasin.
The second part of the house, the side wing, is smaller, but features charming accessories and is also on two floors. The ground floor has an open living room and kitchen, providing everything you need for convenient self-catering. Four people can dine at the dining table. On the way to the living room you pass a rustic sitting corner in front of a fireplace stove, where you can make yourselves comfortable on the leather sofa or the armchair in front of the flatscreen TV. A glass door opens into the hallway to the upper floor, with two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the other has the same bunk bed combination as the second bedroom of the main house described above. It also has a desk for children. The light bathroom of the side wing is a true dream: you can relax in the whirlpool after a long hike.
The third part of the house, the attic, has two bedrooms, a shower room and an open living, cooking and dining room. One bedroom has a generous double bed and two bedside tables, the other has two single beds, of which one is right under the sloping roof. The kitchen next to the dining space is fully-equipped and has a wide window front, looking out onto the adjoining terrace. The bathroom provides a washbasin, WC and shower, with a glass screen on one side and a shower curtain on the other.
The fourth part of the house, the new guest lounge, comprises two bedrooms, a shower room with a WC and a separate toilet room with a WC and urinal. The highlight is the open living and dining room with a kitchen. The generous room consists of a gallery, 30 sitting places and a lounge corner. This room is ideal for all kinds of gatherings and celebrations.
The bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a generous double bed and two bedside tables. The other bedroom 6.40 metres wide has eight mattresses. The kitchen under the gallery is fully-equipped for large gatherings and has a big fridge, a freezer and a professional dishwasher. The bathroom has a washbasin, WC and walk-in shower. Next to it there is a WC room with a toilet and a urinal.
The outdoor area of the house has several terraces for dining outdoors or for enjoying the pure, natural air. Garden furniture is provided. There is a ground-level terrace by the main house and side wing, and a partially roofed terrace in front of the attic, due to the slope. There are eight private parking spaces by the house.
You can find a restaurant and an outdoor pool two kilometres away. There are shopping facilities within three kilometres. As the holiday house is at the heart of the German-Luxembourgish nature reserve and in the Southern Eifel nature reserve, there is a lot to explore. The Neuerburger Land with big forested areas and deeply incised valleys determines the landscape of the holiday region. Cycle paths invite you to go on trips into nature. Many cyclist-friendly hosts await your visit. The Eifel also has many animal parks and zoos, as well as swimming pools and lakes. The Eifel recreational area has a lot to offer all ages, whether you are seeking an adventurous or a relaxing holiday.
