The holiday home Scharmützelsee is a barrier-free family and senior friendly bungalow in a residential area near Wendisch-Rietz in a very quiet location. The lake shore is only 200 meters as the crow flies; the beautiful bathing area with a separate dog beach is 400 meters away and can be reached in 5 minutes on foot via safe, traffic-calmed paths. At the bathing area there is a kiosk as well as a surfing and sailing school and a boat rental.
The new house (112 sqm) has 3 bedrooms, a large living / dining area with open kitchen as well as a guest toilet and bathroom. The property (930 sqm) offers a beautiful garden with an unobstructed view of a forest, a huge terrace, a gazebo with outdoor shower and parking spaces for 2 cars. The terrace faces north and west, which provides pleasant shade at noon in the hot summer months. Sun-seekers find their place on the west side of the terrace or on the adjacent lawn.

The terrace: The 53 square meter and partly covered terrace made of anthracite-colored granite stone is available for relaxing, playing, grilling or as a dining area. The orientation is north and west, so cool shade is donated on hot days; on the other hand, there are also sunny areas. A charcoal grill is available.
The garden house: The wooden house is not furnished and is used as a storage room. a. used for patio furniture and bicycles. A solar outdoor shower can be used for refreshment, whereby the hot water supply is limited depending on the weather and quantity.

The Scharmützelsee
The Scharmützelsee is located about 60 km southeast of Berlin, embedded in the Saarower hills and connects the Storkower Seenkette and the Glubigseenkette. In the southeast and north it is surrounded by the Spree and to the north by the Warsaw-Berlin glacial valley. The Scharmützelsee is the largest and one of the deepest lakes in Brandenburg. It has an extension of approx. 10 x 1.5 km and is up to 29 m deep. After Theodor Fontane, it is also called the Märkisches Meer.
Around the Scharmützelsee pretty much all water sports activities are offered that active holidaymakers want: swimming, sailing, surfing, kitesurfing, paddling and rowing, pedal boats, motor boats and steamers.
