A small family hotel complex of three villas, standing on a hillside with a panoramic view of the village and island of Mochlos. Each villa is independent, ensuring full privacy with its own surrounding area, its own verandas, patios and greenery, its own swimming pool and its own parking spaces. All three villas look out over the vast blue Sea of Crete, the beautiful islet of Mochlos with its Minoan ruins, the imposing "Kastelas" peak and other mountains, Mohlos and the nearby villages and the lovely farming landscape with its small plain, hills and foothills cloaked in silver-green olive trees. This is a magical, inspiring and peaceful spot. The villas blend in with their beautiful surroundings, their design inspired by plain, traditional local architecture with stone walls, stone benches, staircases and patios, enhanced by wooden door and window frames and traditional-style furniture. Light, cheerful colours predominate inside and out. This hotel unit was co-financed by the European Union and has won praise from visiting tourism experts.

The island of Crete, with all its natural and historical attractions, is a fascinating destination. The picturesque seaside village of Mochlos lies on the north coast of Crete, 33 km east of Agios Nikolaos and the same distance west of Sitia. To get to Mohlos from Heraklion Aiport, take the National Road east to Agios Nikolaos and then the road from Agios Nikolaos to Sitia. At the 30th km of the Agios Nikolaos-Sitia road (6km after Kavousi village), turn left towards Mochlos at the sign for MOXLOS. MOXLOS VILLAS is 4 km down the road, 100 metres before the village of Mochlos (You will see a sign saying MOHLOS VILLAS). 30 km from Mochlos is the Hospital and Health Centre of Ierapetra and the Hospitals of Agios Nikolaos and Sitia are 35 km distant.

The inhabitants have been farmers and fishermen since antiquity, while the tourism industry is a more recent occupation. The village has very good tavernas, mini markets, cafes, bars, car hire companies, etc. The islet of Mohlos, just 200 metres offshore, is an important archaeological site, with the remains of one of the greatest harbours and naval centres of Minoan Crete. Fabulous treasures have been brought to light there since excavations began at the turn of the last century. The nearby villages are clean and pretty, preserving the traditional way of life, while the inhabitants are courteous and hospitable. Here too you will find tavernas, cafes and small shops. Various religious festivals are celebrated in the villages, along with traditional fiestas and cultural events. The large swimming pool, inside the enclosed area, will cool you down when you feel like it, and you can bask in the sun on the comfortable lounge chairs. The villa also has an indoor area of 150m² that expands over two stories connected by both interior and exterior staircases. It features 4 double bedrooms (2 on the ground floor and 2 upstairs) and an open-plan area with dining room (with cooking area) and living room (where one of the sofas can be used as bed). The upstairs area (90m²) of the villa features: A spacious sitting room with a view to the sea and the beautiful surrounding landscape. The sitting room is coloured in light shades and its furniture design is inspired by the Cretan tradition. The southern side of the open-plan sitting room is reserved for the kitchen, similarly coloured in light, joyous shades, and fully equipped, as described below. Two double bedrooms, one of them with private WC and another, larger one, with a view to the sea and access to the veranda. A central bathroom, fully equipped, with Jacuzzi bathtub and marble surfaces. A spacious veranda with a splendid view of the open sea, the small Mochlos lush valley and the surrounding hills and mountains. An internal staircase from the open-plan sitting room/kitchen leads to the lower level (60m²), which features 2 double bedrooms and a likewise decorated and fully equipped bathroom of the same quality and painted in similar shades. The villa is completely autonomous and detached; it ensures full privacy and has private outdoor areas, verandas, yards and garden, its own swimming pool and parking space.
