The owner’s impressive attention to detail is reflected in the delightful quirky details throughout. There are cosy fabrics, interesting local artwork, seaside themed lamps and other objets d’art sourced from local boutiques and antique shops. The cosy seating area includes a log burner for the cooler months finished off with an impressive stone lintel above the fireplace which was found on the owner’s farm. The sleek, contemporary eat-in kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons including a wine cooler! The two pretty bedrooms – one double and one twin – are a continuation on the sophisticated seaside theme with warm Farrow & Ball colours, incredibly comfortable beds and plenty of storage. GROUND FLOOR Sitting room with wood burning stove, Smart TV with Freeview and DVD player and board games. Fully equipped kitchen with single oven with ceramic 4 ring hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, wine cooler and Miele dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and space for the storage of outdoor kit. Bedroom one with 5’2 double bed, large fitted wardrobe, dressing table and small TV with Freeview. Bedroom two with 3’ twin beds, large fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers. Family bathroom with bath with drench shower over and separate hand held unit, heated towel rail, basin and WC. OUTSIDE Greengate sits in a pretty, fully enclosed garden to the front and small private garden to the rear which is also fully enclosed and has a picnic table and chairs for outside dining. PARKING There is off-street parking in front of the house for two cars. BABIES & CHILDREN A travel cot and highchair are available on request. DOGS Regretfully Greengate is not suitable for dogs. GUEST AMENITIES The beds are made up with good quality bed linen and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. A hairdryer is supplied in the master bedroom. Bath sheets and hand towels are provided for all guests. WI-FI & MOBILE COVERAGE Superfast broadband is available. There is good mobile coverage on most networks. HEATING The cottage benefits from electric central heating. There is a wood burner in the sitting room with an initial supply of logs (2 baskets). Further supplies are available on request with an additional charge.
