McCreary's Beach Resort, a Great Blue Resort property, is nestled on Mississippi Lake; minutes from the historic Town of Perth and only 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa. We are a carefree cottage resort that families can enjoy for a day, a week or a lifetime. There is always something fresh and exciting happening on our resort. Children are building sandcastles, learning to swim, catching their first fish, roasting marshmallows and making lasting friendships that develop around campfires. We offer fun-filled activities for the kids and they especially enjoy visits from our mascots; Darren the Heron, Ricky the Racoon and Sally the Skunk. We host a variety of family events throughout the season from pig roasts to Thanksgiving potlucks, surrounded by the fall splendor of Mississippi Lake. We shake up the holidays with Christmas in July and Halloween on Labour Day Weekend. There is no doubt we make memories that last a lifetime. Mississippi Lake is known for its fishing, swimming and boating. There are a few islands where our families like to drop anchor and picnic. Our cottagers have free use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and a paddle boat. We also have a pontoon boat and a Skipper who is happy to offer pontoon excursions or tubing adventures. Cafe Wifi Hotspot at the Welcome Center Welcome Centre Boat Rentals Fishing Kidz Club Boat Launch Picnic Area This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund of the rental amount is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted. All units will be cleaned and inspected on check-in and check-out. A $300 security deposit will be charged to your credit card upon booking and removed upon inspection of the cottage at check-out. You will need to bring sheets and pillow cases for the beds, towels for bathing and the beach/pool along with personal toiletries. Pets permitted; unit permitting
