This beautiful studio condotel unit offers the vacationer a fully furnished and outfitted, non smoking unit that is steps from the Atlantic Ocean and right on World Famous Daytona Beach! When you are poolside, you are 50 yards from the surf with only a drive-on Beach and other sunbathers separating you from it's soothing waves. The room does not have a balcony nor do you have a view of the beach and Atlantic Ocean but for that we offer you a great deal that allows you to enjoy the many benefits and awesome location of the Harbour Beach Resort. Walk out your door and you are 2 minutes from the pool and the beach. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is by 11am. There is no check-in desk, you simply go to your room and you are HOME. This unit features an "all in one" studio bedroom/living room along with a galley style kitchen. The bedroom area has a King-size pillow top bed with an up close and personal view of the 55 inch flat-screen TV which you can easily angle toward the bed or watch from the table or futon couch. There is a VCR with a selection of movies for your viewing and cable, with most of the mainstream channels, the NASA channel to Lifetime and more. The futon opens out to a full size bed which makes room for up to 4 people. Room darkening drapes can be closed on both windows to make a better sleeping environment or can easily be tied back and the blinds raised to let the sunlight flood in. You are afforded a sunset view from your room every evening as well as palm trees to remind you that you are in Florida. You will find yourself just standing and staring out the Porthole window or enjoying your morning coffee sitting on the window seat. We added an aquarium scene to the porthole window that comes to life as darkness descends on the resort. Turn on your kitchen light and see the aquatic scene come to life. The room offers plenty of storage space with a closet, dresser and space in the kitchen for supplies. The kitchen has a new full sized refrigerator/freezer, a 4 burner range and oven, a microwave, a toaster, waffle iron,rice cooker, a hand mixer, a blender and a coffee maker, coffee and filters are supplied. There is a wide range of stainless steel pots and pans and ovenware for you to use with plenty of utensils and serving and eating ware for 4 people. Everything you need is already there, just bring food. A table and chairs complete your dining area. The Bathroom has a tiled shower/bathtub combination with a safety rail. The fan light is equipped with a Bluetooth speaker to which you can sync your Bluetooth devices. You will find plenty of towels and wash cloths for your stay plus beach towels in the closet, no need to waste valuable suitcase space for beach towels. Soap, shampoo and toilet paper enough to start your vacation are included. Your local ice machine is just out your door to the left left at corner and is located on your left before the stairs. You will find another on the 6th floor. There are laundry rooms on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th floors each has 1 coin-op washer and 2 coin-op dryers or if you have alot to wash there are 2 laundromats close by. Each cycle is $2.00, washer runs for 30 minutes and dryer cycles are 60 minutes. This unit does not have an ocean view nor does it have a balcony, but the resort is Ocean Front! The pool/spa area has entry straight onto the beach or just lay by the pool and enjoy the beach view and the rock formation fountain. In the "winter" the pool is heated and it is one of the nicest on the Beach. The hot tub and pool are also equipped with a handicap device to aid in entering and exiting the hot tub. You have 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for beach use. For your security the door out to the pool area is always kept locked both ways, as well as the entrance from the beach and the Resort's front door is locked from 7pm until 7am also. The Resort entry that you will use is the north one or the one on the left as you look at the front of the Resort. Be sure to always carry your Resort key with you so you don't get locked out. The resort also offers many features for guests including outdoor grills in the pool area, a workout room, a game room, a business room (with free use of computer and printer when available), free parking for 1 vehicle per unit, free Wifi, ice machines, laundry rooms, pool chairs, and more! Feel free to take items from the room to the outdoor grill area to use, just bring everything back to the room and leave your grill area clean for the next guest to use.**************************************************************************** ***** There is no onsite parking available for trailers although there is a privately owned pay lot directly across the street from the Harbour Beach Resort. If you need trailer parking information, please be sure to ask about it when you book. Because the parking is limited, each unit is allowed only 1 parking pass. The Wifi is available Resort-wide from your room to the pool, just log onto the Harbour Beach option and enter the password. The location of the resort one of the best features! It is right on beach between the Atlantic Ocean and Atlantic Avenue or A1A and is close to all the Daytona Beach attractions. It is just a 10 minute walk north to the Ocean Board Walk, BandShell, and the Ocean center or just about a 4 minute walk to Pizza Hut with their lunch time buffet. 2 brand new Hot Spots just a block north are Jimmy Buffet's Land Shark Bar and Grill and Cocina 214. 2 Miles to the south you will find one of the newest Waffle Houses and the only one with an ocean view. It is only a 12-15 minute drive across the International Speedway Boulevard Causeway to the Daytona International Speedway, the Daytona International Airport and I-95. This unit is close to the Hospital, to the Volusia Mall and many great restaurants and fast food too. Just over the ISB Causeway is the Historic Downtown area where you will find a park that features a local farmers market every Saturday morning starting at 7am. Down past the Speedway on Tomoka Farms Road you will find the much larger Daytona Flea and Farmers Market, open Friday through Sunday. All of the Colleges and Universities in the area, and there are many different ones including a well known Flight School, are within easy distance for you Parents looking to spend a little quality time with your Students while still enjoying the beach and your own private place. South you will find a cute little miniature golf course and several small eateries, most open for breakfast and lunch only. In the Winn Dixie parking lot you will find the laundromat, Post Office, a nail salon, a liquor store and the Shores Fest Haus, where you can enjoy a cold one or fill the growlers from your room, while doing your laundry. Also there is a used book store called Connie's Bookshelf across Moore Ave on same side of A1A. Further south Red Lobster, Subway and a Burger King. Keep going South on A1A and you will come to the historic Lighthouse, one of the must sees of the Daytona Beach area. You will find the Port Orange or Dunlawton Causeway south of the HBR. Both Causeways take you west away from the beach heading toward Orlando. It is just over an hour drive to Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, SeaWorld and the Gatorland Theme Park. Catch the Orlando Magic playing at the Amway Center or watch College Football and Wrestle Mania at Camping World Stadium. Stop at the All Aboard Flea and Farmers market on your way to Daytona for some fresh fruit to munch on the drive. You will find it just over the Dunlawton Causeway, left on Ridgewood the first light you come to, then down about a mile on your left. It opens at 7am on Thursday through Sunday and only takes about a half hour out of your day and is well worth the time. Ridgewood, also known most commonly as US1 or Dixie Hwy and other names depending on your location, is a good local north/south route taking you to New Smyrna and beyond south to southern Florida and into Ormand beach north to the mouth of the St Johns River. Orlando, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, the prime Outlet Mall, and historic Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center are all within an hour drive circle. There are many lakes in the area for those who prefer fresh water, just head inland toward Ocala. Right next door is Sun Splash Park. Pizza Hut (less than a block away), along with dozens of other restaurants, offer delivery right to your door. You can be a tourist or just relax at home, however you like to spend your vacation, it's all up to you, the variety is endless. With your own kitchen, these is no need to ever leave until it's time to turn in your car and go to the airport.
