Upstairs studio apartment.
Walk out the front gate, turn left to the beach, turn right to Fremantle and turn around for easy walk to fantastic cafes and restaurants at your doorstep.
Your studio room consists of a comfortable, resort style queen bed with quality linen, a relaxing cane chair setting, 'Juliette’ style balcony for sea breeze and neighbourhood views. The kitchenette and bathroom are in separate rooms and are both equipped with basic essentials for your stay.
The separate/ self-contained studio is perfect for one or two people, whether you are here for a holiday or for business travel. The room is very quiet and private, yet it is close to all that Fremantle has to offer. We are on Marine Terrace right mid-way between the main centre of Fremantle and wonderful South Beach. Just a 10 minute walk either way.
The studio is up a flight of stairs, accessed from the rear of our house. It has a large living/bedroom area, with a separate bathroom and kitchenette. The room is light and airy, with quality curtains providing light block-out for your nightly sleep. French doors open to a Juliette balcony with views of the local neighbourhood.
The queen bed is of resort style comfort with quality linen. This is a large room with a four-seater white wicker cane setting to view the television or to relax in comfort during your stay.
You are going to love my hand-made 'Rag Rug' made to enhance this area with its beautiful beach colours.
The kitchenette is equipped with the basic essentials, including a fridge/freezer, convention microwave oven, kettle, toaster, induction cooker, blender and crockery/cutlery for your use. We also provide tea, coffee and basic supplies.
Separate bathroom includes a full-sized vanity, shower, toilet, towels and beach towels.
Guest Access
Immediate access – check in any time of day or night through the key safe box, located at the door to the studio.
The four-digit combination code will be given to you upon reservation.
The Fremantle local beach Studio is to the rear of our home on Marine Terrace and is completely separate to the main house. You enter through the front gate and walk around the back, through the courtyard to the entry door to the studio.
Interaction with guests
This is totally up to you. You can be left to your own devices or I am more than happy to offer assistance, advice and share local information if required.
As mentioned, The Fremantle Local Beach Studio is a self-contained area to the rear of our home. You are welcome to make use of the shaded courtyard, with outside facilities, including table and chairs, outdoor kitchen and barbecue area.
There is free street parking along Marine Terrace.
We have free wireless Internet for your stay.

Fremantle, South Fremantle and South Beach are at your doorstep.
Fremantle (Freo to the locals) is well known for its history and vibrant atmosphere. Located in a beautiful port city, where the Swan River meets the Indian Ocean.
South Beach is a beautiful stretch of clean, accessible and family friendly beaches, with many outdoor barbecue areas, cafes and amenities.
South Fremantle (South Freo) is well known for its eclectic mix of local bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pubs and also many local art galleries and boutique shops along South Terrace.
You don’t need a car when staying here, just walk or cycle to experience all of the local life that Freo and South Freo have to offer, but if you prefer use the CAT tourist bus to visit the many sights in Fremantle. CAT bus stop is very close to the studio.
Getting around:
The Fremantle Local Beach Studio is within walking distance to the centre of Fremantle, South Beach and a range of local cafes, eateries and pubs.
The walk into Fremantle takes about 10 minutes, along the walk path that goes along the beach front and Fishing Boat harbour to the famous Little Creatures brewery and fish and chip restaurants on the water.
The free hop on / hop off CAT bus goes along Marine Terrace running every 10 minutes and takes you to all the tourist sights such as The Fremantle Prison, Art and Marine Museums, the ferry cruise terminal to Rottnest Island and connection to the Perth train line. CAT bus 14 is your stop.
Fremantle also offers free bicycle hire, at the Fremantle Visitor Centre. You can cycle around the streets of Fremantle and then explore the stretch of bicycle paths along the coast to experience the pretty bays all the way to Woodman Point and beyond, or in the other direction along the riverside towards East Fremantle.
There is no smoking in the studio, however if you do wish to smoke you are welcome to do so in the outside courtyard.
