Footprints in the Sand is owned and was built by a building contractor and his wife. They have a love for the building and decorating process and it shows in every square inch of this wonderfully thought out home. Comfortable and well-appointed with many extras, you will feel right at home as soon as you step through the door.

• NEW living room furniture in level three and in level one living rooms.
The ground level entry opens into an intimate gathering space with 2nd refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and comfortable seating. Just a few steps further and you are in the patio area with private pool and charcoal grill. A king master suite on this level means you would never have to leave the ground floor, but you will want to go upstairs to see the wonderful views of the ocean.
There are three bedrooms on the second level, one of which is a king with private bath, smartv and private entrance to the 2nd floor deck with hot tub. The third level boasts another king bedroom with private bath, another half bath and a living room that invites you to sit and stay awhile. Wireless high speed internet is provided throughout the house. The delightfully arranged kitchen has everything you will need to create an intimate meal for two, or a family meal for twelve!
The owners of Footprints in the Sand have thought of every possible need and you will feel their embrace while you share their home. This house is professionally decorated with beautiful furnishings, custom cabinets, granite and marble tops and tile. Two levels of decks provide magnificent views of sunrises and sunsets in this very secluded area. The large hot tub and sun-room are crowd favorites. Gorgeous private pool, deck, and a large inventory of furniture make the poolside very relaxing.
Extraordinary sightings include whales, migrating geese, ducks, pelicans and dolphins. Most days horses are visible on the beach and in the yards of cottages. This area is renowned for great fishing. The Currituck Lighthouse is located just a few miles south and its light is visible from the cottage at night.
