Follitude is in one of the best locations on Folly Beach at Water's Edge, which is an easy and short stroll to down town shops, restaurants, and the beach (it's 4 blocks to the beach) - but tucked away on a quiet street of colorful Charlestonian-style homes.
Our comfortable, well-appointed, and beautifully decorated town home has been updated with new furnishings and appliances (new stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer), and this year we completed a gorgeous master bath reno - check out our photos!
We are on the river side so you'll enjoy amazing views of the Folly River and marsh from the screened-in porch (outfitted with sofa, chairs, coffee table, and ottoman) and from the second-floor master balcony.
The home sleeps 7 comfortably. Twin over double bunk in first floor bedroom with full bath. On second floor, there is a queen bedroom with ensuite bath on one end of the hall and a large bedroom with king bed on the opposite end of hall. Upscale king bathroom boasts stunning glass tile in the extra large shower and separate soaking tub. Plenty of privacy!
Family friendly for babies: pack and play, booster seat, radio flyer, many sand toys provided.
Kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal - plenty of dishware, pots/pans, utensils, baking trays, casserole dishes, and a large chef's kitchen sink. New stove with convection oven.
50-inch LED Smart Samsung TV with HD in living area; flat-screen TVs in king and in queen bedrooms.
Brand-new LG washer and dryer and ironing board/iron is in laundry area on second floor.
We have endeavored to make our home a stand-out, and offer many extras including beach bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cart, toys, board games, charcoal grill, and outdoor shower to wash away sand from a day at the beach.
We also provide guests with plenty of suggestions for restaurants, excursions, and activities. Whether it's a fishing trip or our favorite hole in the wall - we offer tips for the best places to go on your vacation. Spend the afternoon by the river-front pool (pool is open April through Sept) while watching boats drift by, or fish off the community pier where spectacular sunsets are almost guaranteed.
Explore the eclectic town of Folly Beach, which boasts surf shops, great breakfast spots, seafood restaurants, and wine and beach bars. Book a kayak or paddleboard tour nearby or even a surf lesson. Take a leisurely bike ride on the island (4-6 beach bikes are provided and bike rentals are nearby).
