Flaxmill Bay is a small, sheltered somewhat undiscovered bay situated between Cooks Beach and Ferry Landing making it a more relaxing place to stay over the busy summer months, but still close to the passenger ferry to Whitianga and all the local highlights. This Flaxmill Bay holiday unit includes compact and bright open plan living... unwind on the deck or dine al fresco with sea views! The kitchen has all the basic facilities you need (no oven) and there is a washing machine in the bathroom. There is 1 bedroom with a Queen bed and a further 2 single beds in the lounge plus a sofa bed when required. When you are not enjoying the outdoor lifestyle this property comes with WiFi and Freeview to keep you entertained. This is a great base to enjoy all the amenities in the area. Locally there is Eggcentric Organic cafe, you are a short walk to the Ferry Landing store and the 5 minute passenger ferry across to Whitianga that has supermarkets and array of other shopping and dining options. Cooks Beach has takeaway shops, a general store and a wine shop to cover all your needs. Other attractions in the area include Hahei and Cathedral Cove 10 minutes drive away, and only 15 minutes drive to Hot Water Beach.
