Positive: The location of the apartment was very central to all Timmendorfer Strand had to offer. It was very comfortable, well equipped and cozy. We enjoyed the Baltic Coast tremendously and travelled around a fair bit (Scharbeutz, Haffkrug, Sierksdorf, Fehmarn with charming Burg and Fluegge with the Memorial Stone of Jimi Hendrix, Niendorf and stunning Travemuende).
Negative: During the first three days of our stay we didn't have hot water in the apartment which was problematical in the cold January temperatures. However, that situation was rectefied for our last two days. Also we would recommend for the host to be more clear about the necessity to bring linen and towels and what the associated costs would be. When booking on the road one might miss the small print.
