Situated seven kilometres from the CBD (Downtown), the townhouse is also close to major shopping hubs and many eateries. The Space: Enter this recently refurbished townhouse and you’ll find carpeted stairs leading to a spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining area with stylish Chinois/Asian decorative touches throughout. The fully equipped kitchen features polished stone benchtops, an under-bench oven, four-burner gas cooktop, family-sized Bosch fridge and Smeg dishwasher. There is a round glass-topped table setting for six people, a pair of comfy two and three seater lounges and flat screen TV, all surrounded by gorgeous Chinois artworks, ornaments and lamps. The master bedroom comes off this living space and has a king sized bed, its own flatscreen TV and a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with large glass framed shower recess. Both this master bedroom and the open-plan living space have floor-to-ceiling glass French doors which flow out to a spacious outdoor terrace with banquette seating and a gas barbecue. There’s a second bedroom by the staircase which has a queen sized bed and block-out curtains. The Neighborhood: Situated only seven kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD (Downtown) Armadale is an established, leafy suburb nestled between Malvern and Caulfield and close to a variety of eateries and shopping hubs –ten minutes by car to Chapel Street and Toorak road, and even closer to Glenferrie Road. This apartment is a four-minute walk from the 5 Melbourne University - Malvern (Burke Road) and the 64 Melbourne University - East Brighton at the 40-Wattletree Rd/Dandenong Rd (Armadale) stop. Nearby parks include Orrong Park, Lumley Park and Victoria Gardens. Getting Around: Although the townhouse comes with its own undercover security parking space, public transport options are only a short walk away. Armadale train station is less than eight minutes on foot, or hop on one of Melbourne’s iconic trams on nearby High Street, Armadale.
