Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very clean and nicely furnished apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner each day. There’s not much provided in the pantry but there are grocery stores nearby. The living area is spacious and comfortable. Beds were good but pillows do need replacing. It’s quite a walk into the centre of Porto but we appreciated the atmosphere and relative quiet of being in the suburbs.

Negative: The aircon in the second bedroom requires immediate maintenance. After 30 minutes use, water was pouring down the wall. Host did attend and replaced towels we’d used to mop up the mess but didn’t actually do anything about the issue. The staircase up to the bedroom area is quite steep and as there’s no side barrier, it’s definitely not suitable for children.
