Positive: The property was clean and a nice size although description on booking.com not at all accurate. The pool was nice and clean.
Negative: The property is on the side of a mountain, you have a long drive up the mountain to get there, no WiFi, no phone reception which caused a problem for us making the video calls for our return covid tests, you park at the top on the road and have to walk down 9 flights of stairs to enter and back up them for the car so not appropriate for young kids. Also they used covid as an excuse for everything, not making the beds, not providing basics and not enough towels were left per person, when queried I was told to go back down the mountain and collect them myself as opposed to them bribing them up as it was their error. I wanted self catering but the basics like bedding and towels should be present and correct as that’s not what you want after 9 hours of travel. Also the man came to check the apartment for our departure an hour before the stated time (we were packed and ready) and they were trying to get us out early for cleaning, he asked us to clean the place and empty all bins and dispose of them ourselves so basically doing their job for them so they just turn up with new towels for the next guests. I cancelled a booking with another £200 cheaper property exactly the same as this as it showed all the steps in their photos as it wasn’t practical, this doesn’t give a correct description of the property, also the pool is a long walk up the road and again you have 9 flights of steep steps to climb to get to it.
