Whether you are looking for a quick slice on the go, or a top of the line culinary experience, the food and libations are not to be missed. Locally owned shops line the main drag, where visitors can get lost in a bookstore, or hunt for the perfect souvenir. In the summer, you are a minutes from the Truckee Bike Park and a short drive from Donner Lake. At Donner Lake, you'll find paddleboard and kayak rentals, public docks along the north shore and a dog friendly beach along the east shore. Northstar California offers additional summer activities for the whole family, including golf, mountain biking, hiking, and a ropes course. And of course, Lake Tahoe! Just a 15 minute drive brings you to a variety of public beaches on Tahoe's north shore. In the winter, you have your pick of some of the best resorts in California, offering world class skiing and snowboarding for all ages and ability levels. POLICIES & DISCLOSURES: 1. This property is located in Historic Downtown Truckee. The Union Pacific Railroad passes directly through Downtown Truckee in close proximity to this apartement. A noise nuisance can be expected. 2. Housekeeping will remove your trash shortly after check out. Should you need excess trash removed during your stay, please call Tahoe Getaways and we will swing by and remove trash. 3. This property uses public parking only. A private space is not available. The Truckee Downtown Parking District has a variety of paid parking from 10AM to 6PM daily, including weekends and holidays. Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are free. The best place to park for this property is the “Beacon Lot”, located directly to across the street from this property. The Beacon Lot allows free 2-hr parking from 10AM to 6PM and free overnight parking from 6pm to 10AM. 4. All of the revenue generated from this property is donated to the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe. Tahoe Getaways services are being provided pro bono.
