Summary: Overall very happy with our stay at Deer Ridge. The views are absolutely incredible from the property and no hiking required. You are 20 mins from Gatlinburg and close to a lot of the amazing hikes of the Smoky Mountains. The indoor pool is very nice right at the resort. The unit itself is older and dated, and could use some updates like new mattresses on the beds. Overall we were very pleased with our family vacation here. Please check out Trish's diner on the main road as it has fantastic southern food. And if you come back to Deer Ridge before sunset, you'll get to see a beautiful sunset from your balcony or the pool deck.
