This newly renovated Summerwind Cottage is set in among the beautiful Live Oak trees of Seabrook Island. This property is conveniently located just 1 mile from the Beach Club pools, Island House, and golf courses. Seabrook Island's great amenities are all within reach. Hop on your bike and head to North Beach and its wide open sandy shore. Head on over to the Lake House area - Here you will find our 15 Har-tru tennis courts and pickle ball courts; along with the Lake House home to Seabrook Island's state of the art fitness center, indoor/outdoor pools, outdoor basketball courts and playground. If you're up for a short walk, Pelican Beach is just around the corner - watch the sunsets and search for dolphins!
This property has been beautifully updated and renovated. The kitchen is a cook's dream with loads of natural light, subway tile, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. There is an island with seating for two, perfect spot for reading the morning's emails or paper with a cup of coffee. The great room is anchored at one end with a large table and seating for six. The dining area is open to the main living area. Loads of comfy seating, an overhead fan, and 58" Smart TV make everyone feel right at home. The newly renovated sun room boasts a 64 inch TV for your enjoyment. The beauty of Seabrook Island is within an arm's reach. Watch for deer, bald eagles, osprey, and wild turkeys. Dine al fresco or curl up with a good book. Off the sunroom is the grilling deck with gas grill.
A second set of sliders on the screen porch lead back into your cottage via the master bedroom. The master en-suite has a king bed, large Smart TV and an renovated bath. The master bath has an oversized sink and tiled walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms are on the opposite side of the cottage. Guest bedroom one has a queen bed and oversized windows. The second guest bedroom also has a queen bed with access to the out door sun deck. Both guest bedrooms share a full bath. This bath has been updated and has a tub/shower combo. Off the kitchen you will find the laundry closet with stacked washer/dryer and pantry.
Under the cottage in the carport the owners have beach chairs, umbrella and wagon. This cottage is dog friendly for (1) dog, so feel free to bring along your pup, additional pet fees apply! The owners have thought of everything to make your vacation a relaxing, wonderful experience. You will want to return year after year!
*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.
Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
Gate pass car total 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.

Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.
Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club are available for purchase. These cards give you access to the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply).

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
