Vacation Beach House Rental Welcome to Daydream Cottage, your beach retreat at the edge of the Olympic rainforest. Daydream Cottage at Seabrook is a sweet gem of a getaway beach home with stunning south-facing views on forest and sky from the deck and indoors. Daydream Cottage is a delightful spot for experiencing sun, storms and all the whimsical times of day at the coast. You’ll hear the echo of surf through the trees. South-facing deck and four garden seating areas let you follow the sun with your book and refreshments. Decorated cottage casual with a touch of city flair, accommodations welcome couples, adults, kids, and solo travelers. Daydream Cottage accommodates one to six guests with three private sleeping areas: two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Walk to the beach via the near-by Gnome Trail. Seabrook’s pool, parks, restaurants, and shops are all a short walk near-by or ride one of two beach cruiser bikes. Roll out of bed for lap hours 7am to 9am. South Crescent pool is a minute’s walk. Come on in through the back door to the spacious kitchen. Enjoy appliances, gadgets and gas range for your gourmet creations. A gas grill is located right outside the kitchen door, with its view on Lily Loop Park. Make a bonfire at the park, wood provided, and have a picnic at a table out of Land of the Giants. There’s a nice lawn for kids to run around, too. Croquet anyone? Daydream Cottage has a croquet set for you to play. Daydream Cottage amenities invite longer stays and shorter retreats. The library has activities for all ages, and for everyone to play together. Entertain yourself with games, short stories, novels, foodie books, and DVD movies. Find TV, TV music stations, Netflix and Pandora radio, too. Upstairs, two bedrooms feature comfy luxury beds. The Queen bedroom has a big view on East Alder Park, Mill District rooftops, the sky and forests beyond. The XL/Twin or King bedroom (conversion kit provided) overlooks Lily Loop Park, giving the desk a great view onto the neighborhood. In the full bath, enjoy an excellent tub and lots of hooks and shelves for your stuff. Downstairs, a queen sleeper sofa provides flexibility for guests. High ceilings give an airy feeling throughout. Both bedrooms upstairs have room to write. Wi-Fi makes work and play possible. Daydream Cottage is a fine home office, the ultimate ‘work from home’ situation. The cordless land line provides good back-up if you need to make local or national calls. To the east, the Olympic forests go on and on. For forest hiking, exit the front gate at Daydream Cottage on East Alder Park, onto Lily Walk, and turn left. Trails out this south-easterly way on the Seabrook Cottage Rentals map are mountain bikers’ favorites, too. When you relax on Daydream's south-facing deck, look for the forest creatures of Lily Walk: grazing bunnies, meandering deer families, feuding hummingbirds, chickadees, and chipmunks. A charming getaway and creative retreat, Daydream Cottage at Seabrook is on Lily Lane in the Lily Walk neighborhood, near the Gnome Trail to the beach and the forest trail to the Farm District. Look for the red roof. To The Beach! Seabrook is burgeoning with growth of new homes and amenities, and this property is currently near active construction. To minimize disruption for our guests we have set strict guidelines for the hours in which construction employees may work.
