With its tropézienne terrace (rare to rent in Orange), this town house which was our home has been tastefully refurbished, specially to receive you.
Perfectly located between the UNESCO-listed Ancient Theater and St Eutrope Hill, a vast area of greenery and leisure that overlooks the city. Just as close to the city center as to the surrounding countryside, you are independent to make the most of your leave or your professional stay. Services and infrastructure, transport, parking, shops, culture, pharmacies are in the immediate vicinity.
The accommodation was classified "Furnished Tourism" by the Gîtes de France in July 2019.
Customers who have already stayed favor an "irreproachable arrival procedure" from the owner and a "perfectly clean" condition.
DISCOVER THE ACCOMMODATION
It's D-Day, you have your keys, you push the front door, the exposed stone arch in the bedroom on the ground floor, reminds you of the relationship with the Ancient Theater. You quickly feel at home between its old walls brought up to date. The beautiful staircase invites you to explore the floors.
Each space has its own space. The kitchen open to the dining room diffuses its smells of coffee and Provencal cuisine. The master bedroom with comfortable dimensions and which adjoins the bathroom, encourages a nap, peaceful sleep or romantic nights. Finally, the living room, a relaxation area with its TV and its extra bed, is illuminated by the bay window which separates it directly from your beautiful roof terrace. In the summer season, in spring or in autumn, take advantage of the sun on the terrace with a view of the Opera.
For a successful stay in Provence, book this unique location, in the heart of the city and yet so close to the charms of the surrounding countryside! All year round, this cottage is suitable for hosting your romantic weekends, your family vacation or your trips with friends, up to 6 people.
It is therefore with pleasure that we entrust you with this favorite house acquired on our return from expatriation in Bali.
A precise description, with the detailed list of all the equipment at your disposal, will be sent to you with your reservation or upon prior request. Approximately 100 m² on 3 floors, refurbished, water-based paint, wood wool roof, condensing boiler, sealed terrace, double glazing, tiling at all levels, smoke detectors.
Here is a brief description:
- bedroom and entrance on the ground floor with dressing room: 18m²
- 1st WC with hand basin
- fitted kitchen and dining room on the 1st: 19 m²
- bathroom with 2-person basin and 2nd WC on the second floor: 5. 60 m²
- master bedroom with large wardrobe on the second floor: 13 m²
- bright living room with extra bed, leads directly to the terrace on the top floor: 18m²
- tropézienne terrace and its garden furniture (open view on the Municipal Theater): 13 m²
For your comfort, we have paid particular attention to the quality of your bedding. The fitted sheets, the pillows and their pillowcases, the mattress covers and the duvets are organic. All the bathroom linen is also in organic cotton. Laundry, shower and dishwashing products are not tested on animals and mostly organic.
In the kitchen you will find all the useful equipment to prepare your meals.
The accommodation is equipped with reversible air conditioning, a towel dryer in the bathroom, free Wi-Fi Internet access, a 100 cm flat screen TV, a washing machine, a cleaning kit, iron and ironing board, dishwasher etc.

Due to the stairs, the house does not allow children to be left unattended. The cottage is smoking BUT ONLY on the terrace and is not suitable for accommodating pets.
4 mountain bikes are available on request and subject to availability between tenants (to be picked up and brought back to my home 5 minutes by car)
A "Baby Kit" consisting of a travel cot, a high chair and a bathtub, will be graciously loaned to you, on request and always subject to availability.
THE DISTRICT
You are staying in the popular "Colline - Etang" district in the south of Orange. You have close to the main services and infrastructures of transport, trade, culture and health. Colline - Etang is a quiet and green area, ideally located because it is as close to the city center as to the surrounding countryside. With 51% homes and 49% apartments, the neighborhood has 6,615 residents, with an average age of 42, mostly single.
City of Ancient Rome, Orange is ideally positioned between the Ardèche, the Luberon and the Alpilles. The town covers 75 km² and has more than 29,000 residents. Due to its position, it is a privileged holiday resort for those who want to discover Provence and the regions in the immediate vicinity. Indeed Orange is located at the crossroads of the PACA, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes and Occitanie regions. The Drôme Provençal, Ardèche and Le Gard are only a few minutes away ...

Our small business "Les jardins de la Meyne" is a rental business for a vegan guesthouse and guesthouse. The meals served for the tenants of the guest rooms are vegetarians. When you are tenants of the furnished cottage you are free to cook according to your habits and your desires.
