Our Country Cottage is located in Southwest Michigan. This home is a great place to get away and is 90 minutes from Chicago, less than 21/2 hours from Detroit and is midway between St. Joseph and South Haven. The home is located across the street from Little Paw Paw Lake with limited lake view and is less than 5 minutes from Big Paw Paw Lakes boat dock. Beautiful Lake Michigan is less than 10 miles away.
The house is a 1400 square foot fully furnished affordable home with a large kitchen and family room, three bedrooms (Master BR has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 has a double bed + 2 twin beds) and two full baths. The house accommodates 7-8 people comfortably and has a NEW window air conditioner. Evenings are great to sit by the fire pit in the large yard and relax with a cool drink after a day at the beach and boating.
The home provides a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, toaster and a coffee pot are also provided. The family room has a flat screen TV with basic cable. Outdoors you will find a gas grill, lawn chairs, fire pit and a large screened in porch.
We're located in the heart of Michigan wine country. Within a short drive you can visit more than a dozen local wineries or shop at the many antique stores in the area. If you enjoy gambling, The Blue Chip, Four Winds- New Buffalo, Fire Keepers Four Winds Casino in Hartford are a short drive away. Bring the family and visit Jollay Orchards and Curious Kids’ Museum. Bring your camera to capture Lake Michigan’s magnificent sunsets. You can take in all the sights by car, bike or hiking trails.
