Accessible from a gated road leading to a private lake on a 90.5 acre estate. Totally isolated yet a quick drive to the city center or other nearby places to visit.
This renovated lakefront guest home includes two bedrooms (sleeps four), one bathroom, an open concept living room (with a pull-out queen couch (sleeps an additional two), dining room, kitchen, and a separate laundry room. Stainless steel appliances. Wrap around deck, patio furniture, barbecue, and fire pit.
Completely furnished and equipped including all dishes, cookware, linens, towels, second refrigerator in the laundry room, as well as an electric fireplace, private beach, fire pit, wood for the fire pit, and dock.
Beautiful and fully furnished gazebo (12' X 24'), overlooking the lake for your lounging comfort. The gazebo is fitted with electricity with satellite internet, making it an ideal "work from home" location or perfect for "game night".
Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, swimming in this spring-fed lake. Water toys, including kayaks, paddleboards, canoe, and life belts are at your disposal during your stay. Dock for fishing. No motors. Sandy beach. Enjoy the peace, quiet, security, and tranquility of this idyllic setting.
Wildlife (wild turkeys, deer, ducks, turtles, hummingbirds, chipmunks, and beaver) abounds in this area, as well as, blackberries and raspberries, yet an easy commute to Ottawa and Gatineau. Drinking water is second to none! You need not bring any bottled water.
Bookings are weekly (a few exceptions) with check in on Fridays at 4:00 P.M and check out on Fridays at 10 AM. This provides ample time between guests and time for a thorough and enhanced cleaning.
Long-term stays are welcome and the price will be adjusted according to the length of your stay. Pet friendly with a non-refundable pet deposit of $100.
Note: There is a damage fee of $300 should anything be damaged or stolen which will be happily returned to you when you leave the guest house in the same condition minus the wear and tear. .
