Positive: The beds were amazing and all the appliances were Miele. Well functioning kitchen & laundry, and a very big spaces (lounge, bedrooms etc). Lots of cups, plates, cutlery and other kitchen bits and pieces. On-site pool towels were a bonus. We could easily see the fireworks on NYE from the River Bar. Nice flat 15 min walk to Hastings St.
Negative: The worst showers I have ever experienced, came out like a dribble no matter how much 'adjusting' was done. No car park facilities so with a large family everything (bikes, boogie boards, the lot have to go up 7 flights (of 7 stairs each). Nightmare. No air-conditioning!! Yes you might be able to catch a breeze but if you don't want to be woken by the Sun at 4.47am beaming in or the external road noise, then it's not practical. Air-conditioning is a must.
