Positive: The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the apartment matched the photos perfectly. We appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage both early in the morning before check-in and again after check-out, which was very convenient for a family of our size. The morning after, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary breakfast of croissants and fresh fruit – a thoughtful gesture from the host, Joanna, with whom we communicated smoothly online.
Negative: When we (a family of seven) arrived, the main door was already open. Unsure where to leave our luggage, I called out “Hello… anybody here?” but received no reply. We decided to go upstairs, thinking perhaps someone might be there and unable to hear us. At that point, a bearded man, apparently an employee, stepped out of an apartment and rather rudely told us that we were not supposed to be there, before shutting the door in our faces. This was not the most welcoming start. The apartment itself was as described, with three bedrooms equipped with air conditioning. However, one of the units did not cool properly – the fan worked but not the cooling. This was not a major issue for us, but it might be for others, especially in warmer weather. Overall, our stay was very good and we were happy with the accommodation. Initially, I had left a “Very Good” (8.0) rating without comments as I was in a rush. Afterwards, I was surprised to be contacted online about leaving a “terrible” review, which was not the case. In truth, our stay could have been a little better in some aspects, but it was still a positive experience. I hope this more detailed review gives a fairer picture, including both what was good and the areas that could be improved.
