You are here near an art museum, you can play golf and tennis and fish from the shores. The nature is also beautiful to experience on foot. The light of the sky gives a special character to the peninsula of Sjællands Odde. The ice age has made the area beautifully hilly. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses from the Stone and Bronze Age, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the bog Trundholm Mose. You will also see Næsholm Castle, which stands on a small island in Lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Nearby, visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century.
