3 Bedroom House in East Quogue
Our cedar shingle house has everything you need for a Hamptons getaway. Ocean and Bay beaches are a short drive away, and the lovely village of East Quogue is just a five minute walk from the house. The farms and vineyards of the North Fork are close by, and the major Hamptons towns offer shopping and sightseeing, museums and parks to suit all ages and tastes. Fast wifi works all over the house, and several dedicated work spaces make remote work a pleasure.
Relax on our wide back porch, play games on the yard (we have badminton, bocci, and other lawn sports for your use), and cook out on the gas grill. The eat-in kitchen is ready for cooking or unwrapping take out from our lovely local sushi place. The dining and living rooms, and enclosed porches in the front and back provide great areas for spending time with friends and family or curling up with a book.
Three bedrooms, one with ensuite bath, occupy the upstairs. All have super quiet window AC units. The smallest bedroom has 2 single beds and the East facing room has a double bed and ample workspace. There is a fold-out love seat (single bed) on the first floor sun porch for an extra 7th person, or if you all need privacy for sleeping. The second bathroom is on the landing.
NOTE: Both of the bathrooms are up a flight of stairs! This is NOT an accessible house if you have mobility issues.
There are several comfortable work spaces in the house for remote work, and good wifi that is strong enough to handle a family of four zooming, streaming and working online. The first floor study is very private, and there are small work tables in each of the upstairs bedrooms and on the sun porch.
Local restaurants (Sushi, Chinese, and Goldberg's Bagels) are steps away, or you can shop at the fantastic local butcher, wine shop, or farm stands, and cook out on the gas grill. The wide covered porch makes outdoor dining a breeze, even on rainy days.
Bikes, beach toys, and a portable crib are available for your use. We provide all linens, kitchen basics and beyond, and a lot of cozy places to relax.
