It features 2 separate living units with 2 bedrooms each. The house can be rented both floors, as flat as a whole house for 8 people. With its four bedrooms it comfortably for eight guests and delighted also with a private garden.
The Chalet Forsthaus is located in Salzburg's Lungau region in the middle of the ski areas Aineck Katschberg, Großeck Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern. The chalet is located on the edge of the forest in the idyllic village Schmalzermoos at St. Margarethen am Katschberg and the municipality of Thomatal. The Lungau is coming directly accessible from the A10 motorway from Salzburg or Carinthia (45 minutes).
The chalet forest house has two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. Overall, the house with four bedrooms can comfortably accommodate eight people. In the ground floor apartment there is a table for 8 people. In the apartment upstairs, there is another dining table for 4 people. The bedrooms are equipped with modern box spring beds FBF or FBF mattresses. So that your holiday can start right, you can find all the beds freshly made before (at no extra cost). In just 3 minutes you are in the ski area Katschberg Ainneck St. Margarethen (connection to the Katschberg), 10 minutes to the Grosseck-Speiereck (St. Martin / St. Michael), in 10 minutes in Mauterndorf and in 20 minutes in Obertauern. The ski areas are suitable for beginners and advanced skiers, snowboarders and also very good for children.
For those who do not indulge in skiing, there are 150 km of cross-country trails and 80 km skating trails, winter hiking trails, toboggan runs and sleigh rides. A special highlight is the summer and winter hiking area Bunschuh, which can be reached in just a few minutes. There you can also visit the fascinating Mining Museum.
