Positive: We hired this beautiful villa to celebrate Christmas with our extended family. The owner was very collaborative in the beginning and helped us change the dates of our stay (due to loss in family). The villa has a good location, close to Bansko and Razlog, easy to be found. Unfortunately the main hotel complex is no longer working, hence there is no outside services to be used. There was a kids playground, which was maintained very well, the garden of the villa is very well maintained, with BBQ and spa zone. Beds are comfortable, kitchen fully equipped and comfortable & modern living room!
Negative: There were a lot of problems in the villa, the sink was leaking, as was the bathtub, the shower on the first floor was not aligned and leaked as well. The BBQ had very little fuel left. There was scheduled maintenance, from the cable company, for one of the days of our stay, that we were not previously informed of. The owner was quite rude when we refused to allow the technicians to disturb us with power tools. The doorknob broke on the last day of our stay, because the door was very hard to close. It looked like it was previously repaired with super glue, instead of changed. _--------- On December 25th our landlord notified us that we are Supposed to pay more, since the prices in December were different than the price in May, but we are not to pay to Booking.com, but to his personal bank account. When we requested for the payment to go via Booking.com, so we can use the Genius level Promotion, he explained that this can't happen and we are to pay the amount. We did call Booking support on Christmas Eve! They did pick up and helped on the matter, ensuring us that whatever payment is required, it must go via their service. We provided this information to the landlord and he was not happy. Besides, this villa is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and for small kids.
