This delightful chalet bungalow has been recently renovated to create a lovely home which can accommodate a family or groups of friends. Set in a quiet location on the edge of Totland this property is within easy reach of Totland's shops, eateries and beautiful Totland Bay. Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor with a superb second living area and master ensuite bedroom on the first floor. The cottage has parking for 2 cars, a decking area and large garden with views over the countryside.
The historic centre of Totland village comprises late Victorian and early Edwardian buildings stretching from the top of the Broadway down to the War Memorial. Meadow View is around a 5 minute walk from The Broadway which has 2 convenience stores, Chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop. Totland Bay is a 5 minute walk from The Broadway and its turquoise waters are great for swimming and kayaking. The sand and pebble beach is backed by a sea wall, cliffs, and trees. Good quality food is available from The Waterfront and The Hut, both on the seafront.
At the front of the cottage is a high specification kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, and microwave. A cosy wood burner and dining area completes this space. Next is the living room with wonderful views over the garden and countryside beyond. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom and 2 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds and one with a king-size bed). Stairs lead from the living room to another lovely living area and a master bedroom with super king-size bed, dressing area and ensuite shower room. The ground floor living room opens through French doors on to a large sun deck with outdoor seating and steps down into the lawned garden. High chair available.
