Welcome to our fabulous authentic cedar cabin, located only 6 miles from the center of Alpine (about an 8-10-minute drive). The cabin has magnificent views of the mountains surrounding it, including Cathedral Mountain, McIntyre Peak, Mount Ord, and part of the Del Norte range. Because the cabin is located on the edge of our ranch, you will regularly see an abundance of wildlife. Deer, javelina, many species of birds, and of course, cows and horses. The quiet out here has to be seen to be believed! The sky is wide open and spectacular at night. The cabin is situated at a comfortable 5000 ft elevation in the high-country desert mountains. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the porch watching a fabulous sunrise. End your day on the porch over a glass of wine taking in a blazing sunset. You will enjoy lounging on the porches at night and gazing at the AMAZING WEST TEXAS STARS!
In Alpine, you can shop in boutique art galleries and shops, attend activities and sporting events at Sul Ross State University, visit the Museum of the Big Bend, go to the movies, and in season attend a summer outdoor theatre performance, Art Walk weekend, Cowboy Poetry weekend, Fourth of July festivities, and attend the 06 Cowboys baseball games, not to mention the numerous activities offered in our surrounding towns. Alpine also has wonderful restaurants with rustic charm, Mexican cuisine, and mouthwatering tastes you crave when visiting West Texas.
The 950 square foot cabin can be accessed by three short steps with railings up to the porches, so it may present limited mobility for some. It boasts one bedroom with a queen size memory foam mattress. Queen size sleeper Sofa.

The main living area is spacious with a pine-vaulted ceiling. Besides sofa sleeper there is also love seat, and a desk with chair. The cabin has 200 channel Dish Network and Wi-Fi access. Large open windows allow you to take full advantage of the spectacular mountains all around you!
There is a very large roomy, fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need for your stay. A Keurig coffee maker with coffee and condiments, along with an assortment of snacks are provided.
Our cabin is the dreamiest you will find. It is western and quaint with the most wonderful backdrop of the West Texas Mountains.
