Casale Marchicello is a typical 19th century country house 4 kilometers from the coast and the picturesque Tropea. It is divided in two - an older completely renovated home and a more recent one. In the garden one can find the swimming pool surrounded by big nut trees.
This holiday home accommodates up to 10 people and is ideal for two families or a group of friends who want to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the countryside while also being close to the sea.

Summary: This was on the the best villas we have ever visited. We are always travelling as a big group, so it is not easy to find a suitable place with a pool, barbecue etc. This time we were 3 families with 4 kids (in total). It is rather authentic than luxury. It is quite simple but there was everything necessary: pool, barbecue, dish washer, washing machine. It is very spacious both inside and outside. Outside there are a lot of places to relax (a lot of places and cosy corners for sitting and dining). It is near to Formicoli beach - the best one we have found. There is no air condition, so it might be an issue for somebody. In some rooms there are fans on the ceilings but it works only with light on. We would appreciate third bathroom (there are only 2) as we were 3 families but it was not a big issue for us. Last but not least the garbage people did not pick up the garbage for almost one week, so there was plenty of it in front of the gate (as we tried to sort it according to schedule) and with high interest of wild cats and dogs. But we definitely recommend this villa!!!
