Very few authentically Menorcan country houses are offered as holiday accommodation. “Casa Nova de Biniparrell” is really a “hidden gem”, and this is just a few kilometers from Mahón. Both its exterior and interior have a sober and pure style. It was built not long ago, but following the guidelines of traditional Menorcan architecture. The garden is made up of wild olive trees that provide the best shade in the world, creating a microclimate with delicious freshness and air. Its marvellous porch is not far behind, offering a truly admirable atmosphere, forming with its arches a space between the sunny exterior and the interior of the house. The pool invites you to enjoy the natural environment and cool off surrounded by a garden that is both cared for and authentic at the same time.
The decoration is limited to a few dots here and here, since the views offered by the windows, some large and generous, the others picturesque and tiny, are what draws the attention and characterizes the atmosphere of the house. Its number of natural wood elements is striking: beams, furniture, blinds, there is nothing out of place here, everything is as it should be.
The almost austere bedrooms follow this line, giving preference to pure materials and views. The master bedroom is on the first floor, with a fantastic complete ensuite bathroom, and access to a terrace with beautiful views, towards the town of Sant Lluís and even to La Mola. More than a house, "Casa Nova de Biniparrell" is an extensive “finca”, there are no neighbors, it has lots of land, the Menorcan garrigue and the typical wild olive trees. The lucky guest will have at his disposal an authentic jewel of the Menorcan countryside. Only tortoises and birds accompany him. The property is situated near to the runway of a small airfield with very little activity. So, this strip of landscape is more an element that increases the natural value of the environment and does not cause any nuisance.
At the same time, the area allows you to be in Mahón on one side or in Sant Lluis on the other side in less than 10 minutes by car. So it's a very well connected paradise, assuming one wants to get out of this wonderful environment to the outside world ; -)
