Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Driving into the property was very pretty with much vegetation and deer. Check-in was fairly easy. The code worked on the front door but not the back door. The property had a nice view from the second floor and the entire house was very nice and well stocked. There were many places to eat and explore nearby. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but only got into the lake at the park once, and we floated the river once as well.

Negative: The property says and shows lake access via the boat ramp. However, the boat ramp had been and remained closed for the duration of our stay. I contacted Vacasa, only for them to continue to say the boat ramp was where the access was. I informed them of the issue, and after 30+ minutes on the phone with an agent, still no luck on how to access it. I then received a call and wasn't able to answer, so a message was left, again stating that I should've seen the boat ramp access on the left when entering the property. I guess the message wasn't relayed that it was closed off. I was told I would get a call back on further help and possibly a credit, but no such luck. All in all, we had to take a drive and pay to go into the park to get lake access. The house and property were nice but just know that you'll have to drive to enjoy the lake as the construction crew said they were repaving and it had been and still would be a few months before they were finished.
