If planning to bring your furry friend ( dogs only ), please , please, let us know in advance. There is a fee of $100 per stay, maximum two small/medium breed dogs . Our goal is to provide clean and comfortable stay for all our guests.
Update: You'll have the whole place to yourself! Some of our older reviews mentioned that the host lived at this property too, however this has changed! It is now a 100% private rental.
The cabin is situated on almost 3 acres and neighboring with state land and another empty lot so feel free to roam the backwoods for as long as you possibly can. We have a gravel steep driveway so in winter months we strongly advise using a car with four-wheel drive.

Car - winter tires or 4 -wheel drive highly recommended when snows. Driveway is downhill and steep, 4 wheel is a must when it's snowy.

Please remember that we are in the woods where there is wild life. Don’t leave any food/garbage outside. Don’t feed bears, or other animals.
Please note that there is no air conditioning in the cabin , we are on mountaintop and it’s always cool and comfortable.
No parties, no smoking/vaping indoors.
Wood stove starts easily if you create a draft, open a window a little bit and turn handle to open a flu.
Absolutely NO shooting guns/riffles/any firearm
on our property or state land ( left from us). No target practice. There are hikers in the woods and we don’t want any accidents to happen. Please, understand !
Hunting is prohibited on our property, even with license.
Once in the house, please, leave your outdoor shoes in the mud room.
Smoking outside only!!
Use placemats on dinner table.
Please respect our home and help us to keep our house clean and comfortable for many more guests to enjoy - no food or drinks on soft furniture. Use the trays provided.
